Talent and Titles

Talent and Titles

Talent and titles are not enough for leadership. They may open the doors for opportunity, but they won’t secure your position long term. Having the title as “leader” doesn’t mean people will follow you. Titles and talent don’t qualify you for leadership; they define and support the area of your leadership.

It takes more than talent and titles to lead at higher levels of leadership. There are several other factors that all work together to help increase your sphere of influence: character, likability, hard work, excellence, attitude, favor, patience, perseverance, development, humility, and anointing to name a few.

If people recognize your talent or call you by your title, be grateful that they trust you with that role. Just be sure to regularly remind them with your words and actions that you love them, value them, and are there for THEM. The responsibility of your title is far more important than the recognition of your title.
